Miscarriage and subsequent sucessful pregnancies

Hi.. I've been having a thread of bad and good luck for the past 3 years. In 2007 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, after treatment in 2008 I am now cancer free.  That was my good luck... the bad luck is in June 2009 I got pregnant only to find out it was an Ectopic Pregnancy and I had to undergo surger and had my right tube removed. I conceived shortly after in October 2009, we were really happy, I have 2 gorgious kids, a girl and a boy and am very thankful for them to God.  Now this new addition would just add more happines to our home.  Well on January 27th 2010 I found out I had a baby inside me, but he wasn't there.. he had passed away at 13 weeks and 6 days.   I still have the ultrasound picture that show him kicking around inside on January 3rd. 2010.  We lost our little baby boy on January 29th 2010, the hospital induced my labour and I delivered a 1 ounce and 4 and a half Inches tall baby boy, looking amazing and totally formed. I miss him and really want to get pregnant.  It's been exactly 18 days since the first day that had the baby.  Has anyone tried to conceive and been successful without having their frist mentrual cycle?

Blessing to all of you and lots of Baby Dust!!!

1. Very happy to hear that you are cancer free (woooooo hoooo - You go girl!!)

2. Very, very , very sorry to hear about the MCs. How terrible to have to go through losing you baby the 2nd time ... after seeing him kicking.... and then to deliver. I cry for your loss.

From the research that I've been doing, it seems very possible to get pregnant after a miscarriage and before your first period. (I am & did.) I know a few gals on the other website I visit occasionally are as well.

I wish you lots of luck ttc!!! :)

i am so sorry. you can conceive right after a MC. and i hope you do. but it will be hard to tell if your period is late or if you are preg. and you may get a false preg test if there is any HCG left from the last preg. so be ready for some mixed signals. and good luck.
