I don't know if I had a miscarriage...

I am currently 5w7d after undergoing our 3rd ivf cycle. On the 9th I had sharp pains in my lower abdomen and when I went to the bathroom there was red blood. I called my specialist who just told me to get another blood test.
The results didn't come in until 2 days later as i live rurally.
My hcg had gone from 200 to 2700 and my estrogen was holding and progesterone had risen... the doctors have made me get an rh- injection just incase but no one is telling me anything else except to get another blood test.
I only bled for that one afternoon but had quite alot of red blood and large clots.
I feel a bit like no one is really taking this seriously and mean while me and my husband are worrying and not sleeping.
I just would love some advice from others who may have experienced similars things...

Ugh - I'm sorry! Bleeding during pregnancy is stressful, not to mention having them after a fertility procedure! You're unlikely to see anything on an ultrasound until your hcg reaches a certain level. My doctors have always tried to wait until 6-8 weeks. Do you know if your hcg is still rising? Good luck!
