Should I be worried?

Hi everyone,

I had a d & c over a month ago now and my first normal period a week and a half ago. Since the d & c I have had ongoing lower back pain, which the doctor thinks is just from the position I had to be in for the surgery, but yesterday I also experienced what seemed like soreness in my uterus.  Could it just be because I am ovulating? It feels better today, but I am still concerned. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I am thinking about calling the doctor tomorrow.

Ugh....I hope not. I have made a doctors appointment for later today to have it checked. I do not think its is an infection, because I think I would have more pain....all I have now is back pain. Which has been continuous since the procedure, but I may have worsened it with physical activity...not sure, so I thought its best to see the doctor.

I agree with yoga chick. I would def ask the dr what is going on and have them check your urine I have reoccuring utis and now have to see a urologist. They don't cause urination pain they cause pelvic pain so that may be part of your problem. Good luck to you. I hope you feel better soon!!!! Let me know what happens!

Thanks for the comment, I have called the doctor, but no response from nurse yet. The pain has gone away though....so I think I am ok.

Hi-- call the Dr... at a minimum they could run some tests and make sure there isn't an infection.  When I mentioned feeling something in my uterus a few months back my Dr's first instinct was a bladder infection... ended up being nothing but I felt better that we checked it out.
