Emotions are a mess

hi guys

Just a very quick one I mis carried last week 12th jan and i have noticed over the pst week my emtions are all over hte place one moment i want to cry the next i am moody as hell and being such a b***h to DH and then the next i am happy and jsut wnat to have another baby! has anyone gone through this some advice? is it hormones causing the up and down? I am normally very modoy aroudn ovulation but coudl that be only two weeks after m/c?

Yeh it certainly does stink! I can imagine how u feel, each month getting harder...i seem to be obsessed with googling miscarriage questions, seems the only thing that helps. Think im paranoid i'll eitha never fall pregnant again, or have another miscarriage! I guess these are all very typical things alot of women think about after such a horrible thing! However, on the plus side, this site is helping so much and im sure we'll all b blessed one day.. =) sorry this is guna sound very dumb i guess..but, what does SSBD mean?! Lol..iv only learnt a few of the sayings, this is my first day on medhelp..thanks!

That stinks!! I had 7 days of m/c bleeding and then 5 weeks later I had my first period.  If I remember right, it was a little heavier and a little longer than my normal cycles before m/c.  It did , however, take about 3 months for my cycles to regulate again back to my normal 27/28day cycle and this month I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a 31 day cycle (still a little off some months).  This is our 5th month of trying after the m/c and the month off.  Every BFN gets just a little harder as I'm approaching my EDD on March 30.  Fingers crossed you ovulate soon and that we all get a BFP real soon!  SSBD!

Hey i also decided to wait one cycle before TTC, i had AF 4weeks after m/c, bled for a typical 5days, 1 week after finished AF i am bleeding again, for 10 days, i just stopped yesterday, i am VERY confused by this..i was hoping to be ovulating on 15th instead i started bleeding...soooo frustrating! I jus want to start trying once my cycle's straighten out! I had a natural m/c..did your AF come back normally after yours?? Ne help would be greatful. **Babydust**

Let me start by saying that I'm so sorry for your loss.  I was there too back in August, so I completely understand the emotional rollercoaster you are on and just wanted to let you know that it is normal.  As for trying again, Louise2010 is correct; it helps with the dating of the next pregnancy if you happen to fall pregnant on the first try.  Another reason to wait a cycle is if you had a D&C as this process can scrape it very thin and waiting that month or two will help it to thicken back up.  The doctors fear that if you fall pregnant too soon after a D&C that you are at a slightly higher risk of having another M/C because of the risk of bad implantation on a thin wall.  If you passed it naturally, as I did, and you're not concerned with the dating you can try again right away.  I chose to wait and have one cycle just to make sure everything was "out".  Good luck to you in the future and SSBD when you do try again!!

For me, my doc said wait a cycle so its easier to date the pregnancy if u do indeed become pregnant, therefore i dont believe there is any medical reason for waiting one cycle, many get pregnant 2weeks after m/c and have very healthy pregnancy's and babies! If u feel ready, i would just go ahead! If its ment to b it will happen...good luck! =)

Thanks for the comment gives me some hope. the doc said wait a cycle but i cant find any valid reason why so we are ttc!!!! i jsut hope it happens quick becuase my life is consumed with pregnant ppl and i so want to be pregnant tooo!

hey, so sorry to hear your news, thoughts r with u! I miscarried last month at 6weeks, amd i was very up and down like your explaining..all i want is to get pregnant again. I dont spk from experience..BUT..i know many ppl who got pregnant just 2weeks after m/c! It can happen, you should ovulate before you have your first period after the m/c. Hope this gives u hope and hope your blessed with a baby soon! Baby dust ***
