Help Cycle After Miscarriage

Hello, I had a very early natural miscarriage on October 12th.  The highest my HCG got was 50 and it was down at 2 in less than 3 days.  The doctor told me that it was fine to TTC right away.  Before the miscarriage I had a regular cycle of 28 days.  I know that after the miscarriage it is normal to not have a regular cycle.  My husband and I TTC right around ovulation although I seemed to have two different rises, around CD 15 and CD 22.  We TTC more around CD 15 and only once a couple days before CD 22.  I am not on CD 34 so ~6 days "later than normal".  Taken hpt and it is negative.  I understand it may take awhile for AF but what I am most concerned about it really extreme lower back pain for the past week.  Not just some aches, I mean really really hurting along with some lower abdominal pain and constipation for the first time in my life.  Is it possible after miscarriage for these to be new PMS symptoms?  Can your symptoms change since I never had any of this before?  I do temp, and the temps have been high for about the past 16 days with one temp dip about a week ago but then it went back up.  Anyone have any similar type of pains or any advice?

how far along were you when you MC? A dime sized clot isnt the baby. When I had my MC I actually had a large sized clot and more after and a clear yellowish sac aswell pass the next day. I had cramps like you wouldn't believe!!!!!!!!! the cramps lasted 3 days and were gone completely I never bleed too much either infact it stopped 5 days after. Your BTP would be still visable until your HCG levels fully dropped which they do every 3 days or so and this depends on how high your HCG levels at the time.

Like mine previously posted:

Monday HCG levels 88
Friday 16th HCG levels 20 (Miscarriage day)
following friday HCG levels 5

and it could be an incomplete miscarriage with tissue still there.
Mine all past naturally at 4 weeks and usually they do. Sometimes however you may need a D&C if it isn't complete.

Sometimes, in rare cases you may still be pregnant but i doubt it because your HCG levels dropped which means MC in early pregnancy...hope that helps

You said >>>>>>Not just some aches, I mean really really hurting along with some lower abdominal pain and constipation<<<<<<<

Sounds JUST LIKE ME!!!

I had an early MC at 4 weeks along on october 23rd, my HCG levels were at 88 monday before the MC the day of was at 20 and the following friday at 5

they dropped pretty fast!

anyways, I am waiting for my cycle too and I have, lower ab cramping, constipation, and sore breasts. I am assuming that they are AF symptoms. The rise and dip most likely would be hormonal levels

LETS HOPE OUR FRIENDS COME SOON!!! =)

Yes the first few cycles can be different after a miscarriage. It's amazing how much being pregnant can change things, even if it was only for a short time. I had a lot more severe pms symptoms (acne, headaches, etc.) after my miscarriage but things settled down within 3 months (got pregnant again with another miscarriage). Are you taking pre-natals? Iron tablets can cause constipation. Back pain is annoying and I hope it is not ongoing for you.

Take care and I hope your period starts soon and you can get on with trying again.
