Help! Just passed fetal tissue Fri, possibly from a m/c 12 wks ago? Is that possible???
I just passed fetal tissue on Friday 7/2. It appeared to be the size of about 6 weeks. The problem is the only time I'm sure I was pregnant was back in April! Made it to 5 weeks. Conceived on 3/25. HPT + on 3/31. My beta on 4/6 was 6.0 so I knew it was over then. All the pregnancy symptoms stopped the same day. Then follow up betas over the next 2-3 weeks were all 8.0! I think I had four betas in total! I realize betas don't normally stay at one level that long, but mine did. Then it went to 0 in late April. I did get AF 5/13 but did not pass any fetal tissue. Then I missed the June period. Did a HPT again on 6/8 & 6/9 which were both super faint + . I thought maybe I had conceived again. But then a beta on 6/10 was negative. Temps all through June were not at the level I'm normally at when I'm pregnant so I must have not been pregnant again at all! And the fetal tissue I just passed 3 days ago must have been from the pregnancy that ended in April! Is that possible? I'm freaking out! I don't have another possible explanation of what happened! :(

after a mc in jan. i had medical, then erpc, then infection and then 4 months after i had a lump of what i can only call a bit of cooked beef drop out of me! doctor confirmed it was from the mc. i had neg preg tests but its been a long time to get my body back. im now having investiagtions as i may have scar tissue in my womb from the d+c!! anything is possible.

I'm sorry for your loss. Is it possible you were pg again? I would def get checked out if it was from your m/c you don't want to end up w an infection. I'm not sure but I have learned along the way that anything is possible. It could be your body healing and just cleaning itself out. Our bodies and cycles change tremendously after being pg and especially after suffering a m/c. It honestly could be a bunch of things. It is hard to determine exactly what it is without getting checked out! Good luck and I hope you feel better soon...

to answer your question, i would say it is possible, i went through a missed m/c last aug
my baby died at 9-10weeks, i found out at my 13wk scan then decided on natural management to have m/c at home and that happened in september at would have been 17-18 wk preg. it's possible to get infected but my doctors said unlikely as the body is apt at dealing with m/c.
