I had a misscariage
Hi im 21 years old i had a misscariage and that happend over two months ago!! I didnt know that i was pregnant. I just woke up one night with my stomach cramping REALLY REALLY BAD! To the point that i was crying. Then the next day i was bleeding really bad and my back was hurting and i felt really bad someone told me that it sounded like i was having a miscarriage. so i took a pregnacy test and it came out possitive. so i went to the er and they told me that they wasnt sure yet if it was a misscariage or not they disacharged me with papers saying a threatened misscaige. so i set a doctors appointment and when i went they said they no longet seen the baby and they confirmed it was a misscariage. So they gave me medication to take to get the left over stuff out of me. Well it has been over a month since ive took the medacine. Well the problem that im having and i dont think its normal is im still bleeding it will seem like its going to go away it will start to turn brown but then it will start bleeding red again for two-four days then will turn brown then next thing you know its red for another 2-4 days. Is this normal?? I thought after two or three weeks i was supposed to quit bleeding i think im losing way to much blood ive been bleeding for almost two months now!! Does anyone know whats causeing this or whats going on? Im really scared and i really need someones help to help me better understand whats going on and if this is normal or should i go to the doctor?
I was also advised to take a pregnancy test ... If its positive then there is still tissue left . Really they need to give you an ultrasound . Just to warn you , you may be given antibiotics to stop any infections that may happen . Good luck
First of all, sorry you are going through this. It it horrible. I sure wouldn't think you should bleed that long, however, I am not a medical professional. I just know I had a natural miscarriage last weekend and I am only very lightly bleeding now. I had a small relapse yesterday where I had mild cramps and bled red again. Did your doctor do any kind of follow up on you after giving you the medication, ultrasound or blood work? My doctor did an ultrasound that supposedly showed I passed everything on my own. They also did an HcG test, but I don't yet know the resutls for that. I just pray for no infection and our bodies get back to normal quickly. Good luck.
Thanks for the advice! Im going to go back to the doctor. But yes i had a natural miscarriage also. They said i was any where between 1-12 weeks they wasnt sure exactly how far but knew it was somewhere in there. But the doctor gave me a choice between a d&c or the medicine i would take for a day every four hours so i choose the medicine simply because i thought it would be less painful. Now im second guessing it because every one i know is telling me its not normal to still be bleeding. Ugh.... this is all new to me and i wasnt really prepared for any of it. I had no clue that i was pregnant and it scared me when i found out but just when everything started to set in and i was getting use to it and started to enjoy being pregnant i lost it. And since then everythings just been so complicated. But i thank all of you for yalls advice and im so srry for yalls loss also!!

That sounds similar to my experience. I was given that medicine and was expecting to stop. I had a two day break in the four weeks . Some days it was like a bloody discharged others fresh blood, it drove me insane because I wanted to start trying again. Then one day after four weeks I bled very heavily and passed a big clot. I went to the doctors and they gave me antibiotics and since then I've stopped complety and ovulated :) Id advise you to go to the docs just incase there's tissue left behind.
I had a miscarriage in april and I had a d&c I didn't bleed that long so I would advise you to go back to ur doctor I am sorry for ur loss!!
