Miscarriage?

So, back in July I had my first bundle of joy and I stopped bleeding 3 weeks after. Hubby and I have been doing the deed since then, though only using pull out method which we know isn't 100%. But I had yet to start my period so I took 2 tests this week which came out negative. Yesterday I had a laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst from my ovary and when I got home I had started bleeding. Today, I used the restroom and wiped there was something clumped on the toilet paper. It was round but looked folded and there was a stringlike piece that also poked out from the center. I'm not sure if I miscarried or not.

I see my doctor on the 12th and plan on asking her then,  I just wanted some other opinions. Some of my family said it looked like tissue, others said a blood clot. But this wasn't dark like a blood clot.  It kind of reminded me of a bloody booger in a way because it was flat,  though I know that's not what it was
