Does having been raped effect ability to carry to full term?

I have a question regarding carrying to term after having been raped.

When I was 18 years old, I was raped on two different occasions. The aftermath was brutal, to say the least. I am now 31 and happily married however, I can't seem to stay pregnant. I have had multiple miscarriages over the past several years. A friend of mine suggested that the physical effects from my rapes may have contributed to my inability to carry to term. Is this true? I've never heard that before but was curious if this were common with women who have been raped.

I am really sorry to hear about the miscarriages and the rapes. I cannot say if you're experiencing miscarriages due to rapes.

The good news is the fact that your able to fall pregnant, so the rapes haven't effected your ability to fall pregnant, but I cannot rule out internal damage that could of been caused. Has this been checked out to rule this out. In my personal opinion, I don't think the rapes are the cause, as your falling pregnant easily, as you said you have had multiple miscarriages. However I cannot say for sure, it would be a good idea to get this checked out, at least then you will know for sure.

You need to have miscarriage investigations carried out. I will send you a few links.

I also experienced 2 missed miscarriages in 2012, when I was 30. I had investigations carried out, and it was discovered that I had slightly raised, natural killer Cells. I had to take steroids and intralipid. I was 3rd time and gave birth in 2014, at the age of 32.

Miscarriages are truly devastating and painful. However there is hope, stay strong and do whatever u can to make your dreams come true.

Please refer to the links I send you and am sorry to hear about all the differculties you have faced.
