Periods, Pls help me

Dear Ladies

I experienced a missed miscarriage and had the D&C towards the end of Jan 2012.

Since then I have had 4 period and on my 3rd one it went back to my regular cycle, but on my 4th period it was 4 days ealier at 28 days, instead of 32 day cycle.

I noticed that my period have been abit more heavy than I use to get, but not to the point that i feel something is wrong, but this month I have a fair bit of cramps before and when on my period, It was quite painful, but I would not say I was in agony, scale of 10 would be 7-8.

I feel like my body is not back to normal yet and I hope nothing is wrong, my other 3 period were ok and painless and the blood flow was more meduim in flow, so one felt just alittle more heavy and I had those pains.

I don't get it.

Hope all is ok...

I'm only 3 wks post d&c but I have read lots in the past few weeks that might help.
Apparently after a d&c, especially for a missed miscarriage, it can take awhile for ur cycles to go back to normal and also they can change to be longer or shorter in length and be heavier and more cramping. because of the procedure, ur uterus could still be regaining its lining thickness which could be why ur experiencing heavier and more painfull cycles. You mentioned ur cycles were regular but the most recent was shorter, maybe it is just a once off or maybe the length has changed.
I would track this cycle and see how long it lasts and compare.
I'm sorry for ur loss and i hope u start to feel back to normal very soon. you always have such great advice and support for others on here, I really hope u find some answers to what ur experiencing.

I wish I could give you some advice, but I am only one week post natural miscarriage.  I sure hope your body regulates.  I have no idea what to expect.  I don't know if a D&C recovery is different from a natural miscarriage or not in respect to future cycles.

Awww, thank you, that's great advice :-)

Helping women on the miscarriage blog is something am very passionate about, and everyday I log on here and  answer as many questions as possible. It's important that I make theses women feel better, as they did with me when I was new on this site.

I hope I have the blessings to have a child oneday, and even when I do if am lucky enough, then I will still continue to log on this and give my advice and support as always.

Experiencing a miscarriage has been really hard to deal with, but I take the positive with me, now I understand what women go through when going through a miscarriage and the pain they go through.

Not only that, but when I do have a child, I will appreciate this so much more, than before. It's like a poor girl becoming rich, only they will know the true value and worth of money. LOL. I have an old fashioned mentality :-)

Well I obviously don't want want to have another one! Having 1 miscarriage is bad enough and I have taken away some positives, but i don't any positives in experiencing a 2nd one, that's just bad luck....

Thank you for noticing that I am helping theses women, it's nice when someone see's that ur helping out others, but at the end of the day, I don't expect them to thank me, there dealing with along of pain, and hurt and some are depressed, which I understand, so I just do my bit :-)

Hope ur ok and I wish you many blessing. If you need anyone to chat too or any advice am here for you so just email me.

Rachel x
