Pregnant after miscarriage?

I am 24yrs old and i am ttc with my b/f.  I had a miscarriage 4weeks ago and it was all over in a week. Everything came away and after my scan i was given the all clear. They said my hcg level had gone right down so i could try again when i was ready.  We pretty much started ttc again a few days later.  The thing is i have been experiencing sharp, stabbing and twinges in my abdomen and around where my ovaries would be.  I thought this was maybe ovulation but when it continued on over 2 days i started thinking maybe not.  I have been looking out for other symptoms incase i may be pregnant again but so far ive had sleepless nights, irritable, feeling sick and sometimes sore nipples.   It dont feel like i did last time i was pregnant although it may be too soon yet.  I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative.  So my questions are, is it possible to be pregnant so soon after miscarriage and if im not, what might these pains be that wont go away??

I would definitely recommend you have your ovaries checked for cists. Because if you do have any, you want to have them removed. You do not want to go through the pain of one bursting!!!! It is very very painful! The only other thing I can think of is that your body is just trying to get back to normal. Your hormones are still a little messed up right now, so that might be why you are having these off and on pains. My breast are still a little tender from the pregnancy. I'm not sure what causes cists to appear, but your ob should've definitely checked you out!! INSISTS ON IT!!!!!!

Thanks for your advice.  sorry to hear about your loss too.  No i havnt had a period yet. They said i should expect one in 4-6 weeks after the miscarriage so im still waiting on it coming.  The thing is these pains are sometimes uncomfortable but not sore in any way.  I havnt had them checked, they only checked my womb.  If the twinges continue i will defo go to the doctor.  Do you know what causes these cists to appear?
Thanks again!!  I woud never have thought that could be what it might be.  xxx

First off, I'm very sorry for your loss.  It is possible to be pregnant that soon, although it would be extremely early in your pregnancy which would be cause for a negative. When you had your last u/s did they check your ovaries to make sure there were no cist on them?. My best friend has had a couple on her ovaries and she had the same symptoms. So that might be something to look in to.I just had a follow up u/s due to a miscarriage and the doc checked my ovaries to make sure they were in the clear. Also, have you had a cycle since your miscarriage? Its usually a good thing to wait atleast one cycle before TTC. Just to make sure that everything is out, ya know. I hope some of this helped or gave you some kind of insight into what might be going on. I hope the very best for you, and your in my prayers!
