When did you ovulate after a d&c?

For those of you who track temps or use opks, when did you ovulate after a d&c?  I am 23 days past my d&c and wondering if I could be ovulating or maybe already did.

Sorry, to answer your question, I have typically ovulated about 3 weeks post d&c with my period coming about 2 weeks after that.  However, for about 3 or so cycles I was a bit irregular.  That's pretty normal.

The big difference between miscarrying naturally and having a d&c is that your HCG levels return to 0 much faster with a D&C. When there are no complications, most Dr.s recommend waiting one cycle.  Some will say longer..it really varies from Dr. to Dr.  Mine has always said 1.  I just had my 3rd D&C and there is no reason to believe conceiving again won't be easy.

I also conceived immediately following a natural miscarriage...no period in between either.  That pregnancy is about to turn 1.  I know other women who did this, and had no problems either.  I asked my OB about it, and she said the primary reason for waiting is for dating purposes.  There is no scientific data that you are more fertile after a miscarriage, or that you are more likely to lose a pregnancy immediately following a miscarriage.  In complication free, first trimester loss, your body bounces back very quickly.

(((hugs))) and I wish you peace and healing.

courage it should be pretty difficult to have 2 m/c in such a short period. i think you should follow your doctors advice and allow your body to heal & pray because God alone can heal ur pain & give u another chance of ttc when u're ready.
sorry & courage. prayers to you

Aw, I'm so sorry.  It's so hard to know what to do.  One doctor will tell you to wait, another will say it's just as safe to get pregnant right away. :(  Sending hugs and prayers to you.

Well..I miscarried this past fri and it was confirmed today but i think the reason being is i didn't wait until my body healed. so we are going to wait a few months until my body gets back to normal and TTC again. Good luck to you in TTC.

Thanks for your response. I have had 2 natural m/c, but this was my first D&C. Don't know how different the "aftermath" will be...
I did get pregnant immediately after my last natural m/c (with no period in between) and had a successful pregnancy, so good luck to you!!

You probably already did...you are at your most fertile after an m/c..natural or D&C..I got pg about 16 days after my D&C...so i never had a period between my m/c and when i found out i was pg... anything can happen. be careful though..Friday night i started bleeding heavely and cramping but wont know until tomorrow at the dr if i miscarried or not... They say to wait at least 1-2 cycles after a D&C to TTC to let your body build the lining back up.
