how soon can you get pregnant after a m/c?

hi im new to this but have been looking at previous post for help..I recently had a m/c on the 16th march 2011 i was 6weeks pregnant..i bled for 4-5days then stopped, asoon as the bleeding stopped me and my fiancee started to try again..i then had to go to the hospital for an internal due to stomach pains all was normal but thought i had an infection so was given antibiotics..i hav now finished them and would like to kno when should i test again for pregnancy?i was thinking the end of april?dont want to take 1 to early anf it be negative?thanx

Thanks 4 the comments..wel i am hopin i hav concieved by nw..im due my 1st period afta m/c 2moro so fingers crossed it doesnt appear..nt gna get my hopes 2 high as i kno it cn tak up2 6weeks for ur 1st period so am a bit weary 2 test bt il w8 til im a few days l8+c and if it neg giv it 2 mor weeks..reali hopin its gna happen..such an awful thing 2 go thru i hope u all get ur wishes+wat u want afta m/c

Im sorry for your loss. I had a loss in October 2010 I was 20 weeks I got pregnant in December 2010 I am now 20weeks I did not have a D&C no it was natural. Don't lose hope take it from me. Good luck...........

so sorry for ur loss.. but Glad ur TTC again its healthy to do so after going thru a m/c

well pregnancy can happen at anytime but usually Docs wud recommend u that u wait until u get ur first normal period before trying but since ur already TTC then take a test once u miss ur period shud b accurate then!
