curious...

I know that this forum is here for others to try to help get support & answers to questions that they have. I'm just curious as to why some people can be so....um... I guess the word is kind of... rude. I listed all the symptoms that I am having on here and another forum on Medhelp just to try to figure out if I was right about these symptoms being pregnancy symptoms & if what I was experiencing was also baby hiccups... however all I was told was pretty much to take a test... I know that much.... I mean I'm not dumb... I just wanted someone else's point of view... my fiance & I had a miscarriage in June this year so we've been trying again... & I'm hoping that I am pg... I was hoping for some better responses from people on here & a little support but some people are just rude... thanks to the people that have given me your advice & support.

Just keep in mind that text can be misinterpreted because someone may take it in a different tone, etc. Most everyone is experiencing the same  or similar things and everyone just wants to help each other or get help and that's why they are coming to the forum. Wishing you the best of luck and hope everything gets better for you.

Yeah it's been over a month since my last cycle... I should have had it around a week and a half ago... thanks I think I'll do that.

Has it been over about 32 days since your last period? If so bite the bullet and its time to take the test. Here is hoping there is a BFP. Let us know - oh and I suggest getting the ones that actually spell out whether you are preg or not so that you are not sitting there wondering if its pos or not. I have given up on the lines, they don't always work for me.

Yeah I understand that... it's just the way that some people word things it comes off a little harse or rude... I'm sorry that things ended that way for you... I didn't really think about it until I started getting symptoms & still haven't had my cycle & should have had it over a week or so ago.. thanks for your support.

I am so sorry for you loss. I agree with tobbeyj that it is hard to respond about symptoms - you don't want to give someone false hope when really many symptoms may or may not be pregnancy symptoms. I have been TTC for more than 2 yrs, and have many times analyzed every little possible symptom I was feeling hoping it was preg symptoms (it's hard not to...), and then gotten AF...
They do say you're more fertile after a mc, which from my own experience is true (it took me 18 mos. to get preg the 1st time, but each time after that I got preg right away, unfortunately all 3 ended in mc).
I hope this will be the month for you!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I posted another question on this forum yesterday that tells all of my symptoms... it says PG...symtpoms...etc on it & lots of questions. Thanks for the advice.

I did have my cycle after my m/c. I had 1 cycle in July but haven't had one this month. I started having symptoms & that is when I started thinking that I was PG & my fiance thinks the same thing. Thanks!!!

I am sorry you are feeling like some of the community is being rude to you. I know you are going through and emotional time and want nothing more than to fill that loss with a preg again. I felt the same way. DH and I waited for one cycle as per recommended by my OB after my D&C and feel peg right away. DH knew I was preg again within days of conception. I was skeptical. Some of the signs I was having before testing + was that I was starving uncontrollably again and DH said I was moody - which I don't know that I can agree with LOL. The only way I knew for sure was to take the test. I have heard that sometimes when we want to be preg, our bodies and minds start to play tricks on us and ask as though we are - so I would say that the poeple who were telling you to take a test were simply trying not to get your hopes up before the time was right. There is nothing like disappointment when you start to convince yourself of being preg and then getting your period. Did you wait for a period before TTC again? I did and let me tell you that I am glad I am - for dating purposes and for my own sanity to know after the MC that my body had returned to its old self again. I hope this helps, and Im sorry for how you felt about the community. I hope you continue to seek our support. Wishing you a BFP. Please share the news when it arrives.
