how can i still be prednant

I was told last week that i was 4 weeeks prednant, then on friday i woke with bit of bleeding by sat it was really heavy and i was passing tissue the doctor said i was misscarriaging? yet today i had a scan and they say im still prednant? yet yesterday my doc gave me the contraeption injection, im scared and dont know what to do? my partner thinks im lieing to him please someone give me advise

It depends as you can still have the sac, but no heart beat. They should do more tests and u/s to check things out for a heartbeat and a blood test to check your HCG levels.

For my 3 miscarriages in the last year and a half only 1 passed naturally and it took about 2 weeks. The other 3 nothing worked and I needed a D&C with both.

I agree with Cr, try calling ur Dr again n asking for an explanation. tell him about ur Scan results n verify the facts. sometimes it takes time for a miscarriage to b final n some times u bleed heavily n God only knows how the baby can survive such a bleeding.
think ++ and don't think about ur partner at the moment. he will Def understand once he gets answers. focus on ur health n make sure everything is place.
I'm sorry ur having to go thru this ..a m/c is always frustrating let alone the not knowing part of it!
