Possible M/C at 6 weeks

The start of my last period was March 10th that makes me 7 1/2 weeks. But we conceived on Marcy 20 or 23rd that is 6 weeks. I had my first u/s today and they told me that after the measurement the size of the baby(?) is 6 weeks and it should be the size of 7 ½ weeks. They gave me two options: 1- I had a miscarriage 2- it is too early to tell. I have no bleeding and cramping and I am not feeling anything abnormal. Still have the symptoms of pregnancy that was exhaustion and sore breasts (never had morning sickness). I am supposed to go for another u/s next week and see if it grew at all. If yes, well everything is fine and if not I had a M/C. I am 28 and this is my first pregnancy. Has anyone gone through similar situation that can share the outcome for me. I am a little stressed out over the entire thing. Thanks

I guess its really common for a miscarriage in the first trimester. And usually the doctor will only start to really test you for problems, is if you have 3 miscarriages in a row. This is was my first one so I dont know what will happen next. But thank you; I wish you the same thing and I hope things work out for you in the best way possible. Also, try not to stress alot over the news the doctor gives you because that can speed up a miscarriage. Just be calm and patient.

The same thing happen to me went in when I first found out I was pg DR told me I was 5 weeks that day 2 days later went in for a U/s and said I was only 4 weeks they didn really say that anything was wrong but just timing off that's all. Went back in for a U/S at 7 weeks and the baby was 6 weeks 5 days and had no heartbeat.. So I did end up miscarring. So I think the whole time it was going to happen and the baby was just growing slow. I wish you the best of luck tho... And I'll pray for you. Don't get to stressed it might just be timing off.

I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks. Unlike you I surely experienced bleeding and cramping. But before that I went to the doctors and the baby measured at about 3 to 4 weeks and they told me the same thing. They said come back next week and we will see if it grows a little to notice it, if not your either going to have a miscarriage or you already experienced it without knowing it. Two days later I had a miscarriage. Now if i was you I wouldnt be that nervous because you are not experiencing any bleeding and cramping. I hope all goes well and good luck!
