Heavy feeling in my abdomen 1 week post natural/complete miscarriage

Hello Ladies-

This is my first time going through a miscarriage, so I don't know what to expect.  Did you have a heavy feeling in your lower abdomen (almost like gas bloating) 1 week post natural/complete miscarriage?  Sitting for long periods of time seem to put a lot of pressure on my lower abdomen.  I need to lay down after sitting for too long.  Also, did you have a slight smell?  I am still lightly bleeding 1 week later.  I sit outside a lot and wear a pad, so I don't know if the smell could be from the blood and sweat mixture.  It is really hot here right now, so I sweat when sitting outside.  I had an ultrasound that showed I supposedly passed everything.  I know a foul smell is a sign of infection.  I keep taking my temperature and it is normal.  I really don't feel bad either.  Also, I didn't retain the dead tissue for long.  I was diangnosed at 7w3d (baby died around 7w) and started passing the tissue at 8w5d.  I think my chances of infection are low at this point since I supposedly passed everything.  I haven't had sex, swam, taken baths, hot tub, used tampons, etc.  I have only worn pads and used Cottonelle wipes in the area.

I'm sorry for ur loss. I believe it is nornal to be feeling bloated/heavy a week after a miscarriage, ur uterus will still be going back to its normal size, this could take another few days or a week. U may even experience some light cramping during this time which is also normal and related to the uterus changing in size.
If the doctor advised u have passed everything that's great but if the odor u notice gets worse or continues for too long I would see a doctor just to be sure there is no infection or uti.
