headaches after miscarriage & D&C

Any one else get headaches after a D&C? I had a D&C 2 weeks ago and have had a headache every day since. Some days they are worse than others. At first i chalked it up to the medication they give you to put you under for the D&C, and now I'm thinking maybe it's hormones? UGH! i have an appt with my dr tomorrow and will ask him but this is getting a little worrisome. Last night i actually woke up in the middle of the night from a pounding headache.

Hey
With this pregnancy I am due march 1 but I am pretty sure this baby will be early because my other 2 were early too.  I would  like it to be late lol because I have never had the "have you had the baby yet".

My son was due oct 12 so that is slowly appoaching.  I have decided not to celebrate it at all because in my head he was born on the 13 apil.  I will have to see how go when october comes around :)

To be quite honest I am glad I waited a month before falling pregnant.  I think I could have gone another month but the feelings I had during those real early weeks would have been the same.  It is son scary but as each day goes past it does get easier.  I am dreading my 12 week scan because my son passed at 11 weeks so we will see how that goes.

Have a great week

i know a couple of people that got pregnant right after miscarrying. My dr told me to wait 1 month. I guess after I have my first period. we actually started bding about 9 days after my D&C and it was painful too. I think it was because I was so dry.(sorry if TMI) Probably due to a hormonal thing.  I'm so happy for you! I still get a little emotional especially when someone mentions the month february. Feb 10 was my due date. keep me posted on your pregnancy.

Hey

I asked the doctor straight after I miscarried when we could try again and she said whenever you want.  I would cry every time after bding and it would kill my husband so we didn't really try stright after I miscarried.  It took me almost 8 weeks to stop crying after bding.  I stil get quite emtoional about losing my little man but I am fortunate enough to have gotten him back and we have buried him in a pot plant.  We fell pregnant the next month.  I asked my doctor if falling pregnant so fast would cause a problem and she said no it wouldnt because i had already shed the fist lining.  She saidf the only reason they say to wait is for emotional reasons.  I did struggle with this pregnancy emotinally at first but once i saw my baby on the ultrasound i am a lot moe positive.  I have another ultraound at aound 11 to 12 weeks so that will be the scary one fo me.

Hey

No they didn't know what went wrong but they said sometimes you never find out.  My miscariage happened very, very fast.  I went from pink dischage the fist day to gushing the next day before I even knew something was wrong.  They said that he may not have attached to the placenta because there weren't enough hormones to push him to the next stage.  I'm now 8 weeks pregnant tomorow so I am just taking each day as it comes and looking forward to my next scan at 11 o 12 weeks.

I know the headaches are full on and wear you out but it does get better after a few months :(  It definately isn't easy those early days but it does get easier

Hey
I had a natural miscarriage in april at 14 weeks and I definately remember having headaches for a few weeks after my miscarriage.  I had no medication whatsoever so I guess it is just your hormones.  My headaches felt constant, somtimes they were bearable but other times I had to take a couple of panadols just to get by.  I think they it only lasted on and off for about 3 weeks.  I hope that helps!!

I am sorry for your loss :)
