I'm so sorry you had to go thru that loss.  It's devestating and it takes a long time to heal.  I've had 3 m/c and no children, and the losses stay with me forever.  I do feel better and keep trying to conceive, but I never forget what I've lost and it has impacted my life.

What you are going thru is normal.  Crying is normal. Hurting is normal.  After my first m/c, I talked with a therapist bc talking about it is what helps us heal.  Again, I'm really sorry and continue coming here to talk as much/long as you need.  People here understand.

Yeah, I think I'm going to request meds instead of the DNC.  I've gone through labor three times already, so I'll just have to deal with the pain.  Just trying to overcome the idea of not having a baby after all.  I guess there's a reason for everything.

yeah, waiting to get a definate answer is the best thing to do... my sister had a DNC and she said it was painful, but then again you're having a baby so it will be.  i chose the meds over DNC because i wanted it to be as natural as possible.

Thanks for your advice.  I wasn't offered any meds, just waiting for the blood results, and if they dropped some more, dr. said to return to have a DNC.

when i had mine i was given medicine to speed along the process. in the ultrasound the baby measured 9 weeks but i carried until 16 weeks. i took the meds in the afternoon on a wednesday and didn't have the baby until evening the next day! the whole time i was in the worst pain i have ever experienced. i went to the restroom because i felt like i was having a bowel movement and instinct kicked in, i automatically pushed - and there was my baby. we took it to the hospital. immediately after having it, the pain stopped. i bled for almost two weeks after... i hope this helps. best wishes to you. i know how painful emotionally and physically the loss is.
