miscarriage

I believe i am miscarrying from a blighted ovum right now - according to my doctor. how will I know that I have fully miscarried. Do I need to go back to the doctor to get checked out?
She just told me to expect a heavier than regular period and that will be it, but i'm worried about infection.

Should I be?

I would go see the Dr. as well to make sure everything has cleared and to make sure there is no infection.

Have you had your period yet? I think you need to make sure you pass everything once your period is over. There is a risk of infection if some of the pregnancy remains. I think they can check via a scan or something???? Hope that kinda helps :o/
