I had a m/c in may and I was 6wks. I didn't want to get pregnant right away with the fear of going through another one. I am now pregnant and have my first doctor appointment tomorrow. Im still a little worried but god willing this baby stays strong. I understand your thoughts, my advice is do what your body tells you. If you feel like your ready then go. Although I waited 6 months to get pregnant I still think about what if... Let it be in gods hands and let him handle it. Best wishes to you. :)

Miscarriages at early stage are mostly due chromosomal disorder and then they start to become complex situations like uterus and cervix problems... Cord problems etc if u hve miscarriage at later stage.... Every pregnancy had almost about 20-25% chance of miscarriage in first trimester... 40% chance if u hve any fertility problems such as thyroid pcos etc... 15-10% in second trimester n thn 5% chance in third trimester...

Miscarriages/still births can happen nytime n to nyone... But it all depend on women to women... Please bear in mind every single person is different n they hve different reaction to miscarriage... Many women tend to recover soon n other unfortunately recover later.. It all depends on circumstances and ur situation... One should compare thm selves to each women out there...

I hve fertility problem since i ws 15 pcos... I got married at age of 18... It took us 2yrs before i conceived last yr at age of 22... However i had miscarriage in december at 11wks... It took me 4 cycles before i had normal 5th cycle n concieved again. .. I m 23wks +5... Every cycles i ws passing tissues as my body took longer thn usual to recover....

My bestfriend had miscarriage at 7wks last yr in june its been more thn a yr she hasnt concieved.. Every women is different...

My sister in law at 18wks with lil boy 2yrs ago... It took her yr to recover coz her cycles became irregular after tht n she started producing cysts in her uterus from no where.... She is absolutely normal but yet havnt concieved....

But there are women out there who concieve right after miscarriage...

Doctors tend to say wait one cycle n start trying... Coz its easy to date pregnancy before u/s.. Second any tissues left behind such as in natural miscarriage thy clear up...

Its really upto u... If u want to try carry on...take care of urself n keep us posted...

It can happen at any age hun as soon as u start the age of child bearing im only 23 and was 22 when I found out healthy besides frequent kidney stones, taking prenatals already for a year, active, and happy except for not being able to conceive on command. Unless its an imbalance within ur self its a mystery.  (Implantated the wrong way, to little, to much chromos., or a number of other things.

Thank you all for your info on experience . I asked the question and have already worked out that everyone is different I suppose , just wish their was a. Clear answer pretty rubbish , I don't understand tho , people who m\c at 8-12 weeks seem to ovulate the next week etc and so many people that m\c at 4-5 weeks aren't seeing ovulation . I am 20 years young :) and am really wondering why I had a miscarriage as I do not drink heavily or anything that would really cause it ? :)

Actually it really depends on the the person. Everybodys body works, responds, and heals differently. This is a site for us to help each other and give support, not argue. :(

With that being said, what I have learned from very extensive research over the past 2 months is that it 'usually' takes 2-3 cycles for your uterus to fully heal after a pregnancy/miscarriage. But like I said this VARIES! There are many successful pregnancy stories that were achieved before this amount of time, but in my opinion I would wait at least 1 cycle, just so you know everything is cleaned out and your uterine lining has shed and rebuilt at least once since the MC. Also, most of the time (according to research) a woman will not ovulate before her 1st period after a miscarriage, but many women do. It has been around 9 Weeks since my miscarriage (5 Weeks pregnant, approx.) and I have not had my first period. But like I said, everybodys body is different and everybodys situation is different. I am not trying to act as if I know more than anybody, but I just really thought hunnybunny deserved to have this information.

I wish you all the best and  congratulations on your pregnancies and sorry for your losses.

Hope I helped! :)

I had a miscarriage in late may a week later the bleeding stopped (i was 7-8 weeks along) I conceived the day i stopped bleeding and am currently 25 weeks pregnant with a healthy little girl. The body not being able to recover so soon crap is a myth. When doctors tell you that its so that you can heal emotionally and be prepared. Most of the time when you miscarry its due to a chromosomal imbalance and with women who have multiple miscarriages  usually have a hormonal imbalance to were baby cant attach right or body cannot support the baby. GOOD LUCK!!!

Its not 100% im afraid. I had a miscarriage in december 2011. Got preg in feb 2012 and suffered a 2nd m/c and was told i was having a recurrent m/c because i didnt have much time for my body to recover. I was told to wait 7 months and now im almost past my first trimester :) best of luck x
