hi i had a miscarriage january 22nd i was 8 weeks 3 days along..i still have not had my period is this normal? i didnt need a d&c..this was my first pregnancy and i conceived using softcups for 1 cycle only....i cant wait to try again but i am a little worried thinking maybe the softcups could of had something to do with me having a miscarriage? my friend got pregnant using the same method and hers ended up in a miscarriage as well...

I also had a miscarriage and am waiting on my period after a little over 4 weeks but I thought I became pregnant again shortly after the miscarriage. We want to start trying right after getting my first period with an open heart to see what happens. Wishing you the best!

Hey I know that after my first miscarriage it took me 12 weeks to have a period. This is considered normal. Dont worry

I don't know anything about softcups but I would give it a little longer in regards to your period. If you don't get anything in March I would consult your OB just to make sure that all of the products of conception passed. In some cases something is left behing which can inhibit you getting your period.

Maybe try the good old fashioned way next time but it is unlikely that 'softcups' caused you to miscarry. First trimester miscarriages are usually related to a chromosomal defect.

Good luck to you.
