when people say there's nothing you can do to stop a miscarriage that's not totally true especially if there had been more than 3 miscarriages in a row, when I miscarried my first time the docs offered no explanation they say oh that happens sometimes, then when I lost the second one I said I would be damned if I lost another one without testing, did some tests turns out I had elevated natural killer cells which attack the fetus and prevent it from implanting properly into the lining of the uterus thus leading to fetal demise, my both miscarriages were were at 7 weeks so I knew instantly that it wasn't jus something that happens, anyway long story short I was placed on medication to supress my immune system, started trying again and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant, I suggest you have some tests done if it happens again, lost of sticky baby dust to you hope all goes well
Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do to stop a m/c from happening. As for the nationality thing I don't believe that has anything to do with it. I am a mix race (hispanic and white) and my husband is 100% white and we have had two m/c's and are now 26 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Try staying positive and don't stress. Congrats!!
I have been told that there is nothing that can be done to stop a miscarriage from happening. I know its a fearful time for you right now but try to think positive and be good to yourself. Be thankful each day for the pregnancy you have been blessed with. I have had 4 losses back to back so I understand where your fear is coming from. If things for some reason don't work out this time please make sure to ask your doctor to send you for recurrent pregnancy testing. Sending you lots of baby dust. Congrats on your pregnancy!!
I don't think nationality has anything to do with it. (of course just my opinion). it could be more of a bodily issue. Maybe your body struggles with pregnancy. I think you should ask your doctor, "What is constantly causing my body to have miscarriages?"
Hope This Helps...
