Hi there, I've been under investigations for symptoms that started 10 years ago, went away and came back 4 years ago.. Vertigo was first, then weakness, off balance, joint pain, double/blurry vision, tingling.numbness in legs and hands, arms. I've had 3 brain MRI, last one the Radiologist stated
Findings: Numerous T2 hyperintense foci are again seen in the cerebral white
matter, involving the deep, subcortical and periventricular white matter. A
few of these lesions have slightly increased in size as compared to
previous. At least 2 tiny lesion are present in the corpus callosum. A few
of the lesions have perivenular (Dawson's fingers) orientation. Impression
Numerous T2 Hyperintense foci. Their pattern is suspicious for
demyelination. The findings have slightly worsened as compared to previous.
I had a C spine and full spine MRI...both clear.. LP..normal.. High ANA.. high CRP... have gone to Rheums...they can't help... had lots of blood test.. I have two monoclonal bands... Bone Marrow shows Granulomas, they looked for TB, Sarcoidosis..my lung look clear..but I have Reactive Airway Disease.
I really frustrated as I'm told to wait for 6 more months to see if I have any changes.. been to a psyciatrics as one Dr requested and she said it sound Organic..not in my head. my left side weakness gets so bad my life had changed... waiting for MRS...I used go golfling, bowling, go to football, hockey games. I haven't been able to do any of that for 4 years now. I can't use stairs, my Vertigo spells gets so bad at times I get it three times in a day and I'm finished for the week...just exhausted from them. My main outing is with my husband, going grocercy shopping and holding onto the cart for dear life.. and that finishes me for the next day or two.
Sorry, this is so long.... I just really wanted to get all this down and get your opinion on what I might do next...just wait like the MS specialist requests...thanks..wobbly
