mild multi-focal white matter brain disease.............?????

I was recently diagnosed with this.  I have terrible, painful headaches almost daily and as my current neurologist has noted, almost every drug has been tried to knock out the pain and/or prevent it, none of which seem to be working.  In addition some of my other symptoms currently are: tingling in feet, arms, legs, face.twitching of left eye. unexplained jerking/spasms of legs at times, hand shaking, confusion, cognitive abilities, unable to remember the simplest of words at times, depression, mood swings, pain throughout my spinal area and joints.  Hx of symptoms in past had similar symptoms minus the cognitive, mood swings, spasms in legs, spinal area but add complete loss of vision(blackness) for probably 5-10 minutes. Now the hx of symptoms had gone away and the newest symptoms listed first are here and in full force, the headaches are killing me.  I have a high tolerance to pain and manage to drudge through when I the medicine doesn't work after i can't take any more doses for the day, but my concern is my doctors are not diagnosing or need to run more tests.  I have done much research and MS was mentioned at one time, however it was told to me that whether they diagnose me today or a month from today it is what it is.  Right now I would be most happy to get rid of the headaches, so I could function normally, or at least as close to normal as possible, then deal with the other symptoms.  Someone please help!!!  I have had several MRI orver the past 8 years the last the first showed several lesions, second again many lesions, the third showed that three in the frontal lobe had shrunk some and the last most recently in Aug/Sep showed that not a significant change since the last.  However when this done I wasn't showing the symptoms in the severity I am showing currently and have been for several months now.  The spinal I had done about 4 years ago was in normal range, however they said it was close to not normal end of scale and should be re-tested in a couple of years.  I am pushing to have this re-done, but so far my new neurologist has not ordered the test.

Hello welcome. I hear your frustration I would be frustrated to. I first off am no Doctor. Are you or have you ever seen an MS specialist? Neurologist specialize and one size does not fit all. I went to a Neurologist when they were looking for MS and she was a headache specialist and she missed the MS and only wanted to treat the headaches. I am not saying you have MS. There are fewer MS Specialists than regular Neurologists.

Did they mention anything about o-bands on the LP specifically ones in the CSF and not in the blood serum.

On the top right of the Screen you will see the help Pages there is lots of information as well if you click on it.

Oh  you would not know this would you mind breaking up your writing. Many of us have trouble reading especially large blocks.

Thank you.
