Possible MS or something else?

I know a lot of you are experts here on this as far as living with MS on a daily basis, so I could use your opinion. I am 48 years old.  I have been having weakness in my legs. Suddenly a couple flights of stairs makes my thighs burn where I have to stop. It started 6 months ago with a restless leg feeling at night. A gnawing feeling that made me want to stretch. Then I started feeling it during the day. I noticed I started to make a lot of typing mistakes and handwriting is uncomfortable. The feeling then started in my arms. All four limbs and sometimes hips and back get this burning gnawing feelings. At times it's minor and other times makes me cry. My anxiety level has gone through the roof. My concentration is foggy. All of this really started 1.5 years ago after a bad reaction to a flu shot. For months after the shot I had these symptoms plus vertigo at times. I also developed a breathing problem then where I yawn and sigh constantly and if I don't yawn I feel very short of breath. Lung and heart tests are all perfect but every day I'm SOB. All the symptoms resolved after that first episode except for the SOB and the restless leg feeling.  Recently when I started a course of nexium, It made my muscles feel insanely uncomfortable. It improved when I stopped the drugs but then I came down with a horrible virus that's lasted 3 weeks. During that time the gnawing burning has returned full force. It was real bad when I had a fever. My thighs hurt awful. The virus is finally resolving and the muscle discomfort is improving. I have an appt with a neuro in 2 weeks but my doctor sent me for a brain mri. Here are the results. It's compared with an mri I had 5 years ago that showed white matter foci.

Again noted are scattered punctate foci of increased T2 signal within the periventricular and deep white matter,  not significantly changed. Possible T2 signal abnormality within the body of the corpus callosum on the right.
Findings are nonspecific. Possible etiologies include migraine disease, vasculopathy, demyelinating disease, micro vascular ischemic changes and Lyme disease.

Thoughts? I think the possible abnormality in the corpus callosum is new because it was not mentioned in the mri 5 years ago. The feeling in my body is so awful at times and it's hard to explain what it feels like. I feel amped up too. The other scary things are the sob and my thighs burning going upstairs. I've been going to the gym for years so my body is used to exercise.

I haven't been able to see a neurologist yet. I have an appointment in 2 weeks that I made 2 months ago. It's been a long wait to see him.  That's why I am asking here because my regular doctor ordered the recent mri but I don't have anyone to interpret how it might or might not be related to MS.

Sounds like you are having a lot of symptoms? What does your Neurologist say? If he or she is not a MS Specialist you might try a MS Specialist. Do they give you any medications to help?
