MRI on Friday coming up, still battling whatever I picked up after my infusion and trying to stay warm. Hope everyone has a good week
Hi all!
Well last week was an eventful one in our home.... this week is a bit quieter (hopefully!!)... only thing truly planned is not something I am looking forward to - having my first nerve conduction study on my arms Thursday morning. Hear all kinds of feedback, but you know how it goes - anticipation of the unknown is usually worse then the actual event. Hopefully that holds true with this and I log in Thursday afternoon laughing at myself for being worried!
They are calling for more warmer days, so that is wonderful news here in PA... no snow in February is great news!!!
Hope everyone is warm and happy!!

I had that done and its no biggy. A smidge uncomfortable but you will be amazed at how little it bothers you! Let's say I hate blood draws worse!
Keep us posted
Well, my week is also very busy. On the 22 of this month I have to do Emgs on my legs and arms. I had this done a year ago but Pittsburgh wants me to redo this test. Also, they want me to do an Mri of my cervical spine. They also want a blood test for sjogren antibodies. This is all going to be done in the same day. It's going to be a long Wednesday for me.
I wish everyone a good week. Please keep me in your prayers for Wednesday.
Take care...... I hope everyone has an easy and relaxing week

Same thing as alwasy for me. School, taking mom to doctors. Hopefully hearing from Shared Solutions about starting my Copaxone, they were still waiting on the pre authorization and my meds will be on their way.

gastroscope and colonoscopy tomorow morning,,,yeeha.
I have an appointment at the clinic tomorrow morning. Not sure it will help much but hopefully they can at lest renew my scripts. It just general medical but its something and only 10 bucks so will see.
Other then that the same old job hunting and such.
I think Mike has the most 'fun' lined up for this week. I get to see the podiatrist to consult on my bunion surgery - I hope the CAT scan showed that a simple bunionectomy will do. I really don't see myself having the balance to use one of those knee scooters and walking around on one leg. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen!
Definitely Mike is going to have the most "fun" and better "he than we" LOL
Sounds like we will all be busy with news to report next week!
Sarah, elbow deep in bread dough which is calling me back to the kitchen
Finally all kids back at school tomorrow! (fingers crossed). Been a long, almost 2 weeks of being the head of a hospital in the house. Don't remember a time when they and hubby have ever been so sick. Multiple visits to ER for dehydration, on and on...
I am exhausted.
Had follow up w pulmonologist today. Still not happy w how I sound, even though last X-ray showed pneumonia gone. Having chest CT scan, pulmonary function now this week.
I brought him literature on Tysabri today. He looked on line for quite awhile, said he will continue to look further into it as well. He , of course, has never heard of it, and has no pts on it.
I am scheduled for my infusion Monday, but once again am most likely going to cancel again. The respitory stuff is becoming really problematic at this point.
Gotta clean for the cleaners coming wednesday. Having a crown this week as well, as long as my cough allows.
Also need to call for instructions for son at pedi. GI doc. He is scheduled for a colonoscopy/Endoscopy this week. Poor kiddo :(
So that is it so far...
Have a good week all
Well, I went for lab (blood work) and a heart stress test, prior to visiting my PCP, next week. He requested the heart stress test, because of the episodes I had a few weeks ago with muscle spasms, on the left side of my chest, where the ribs meet the sternum.
The results of the heart stress test revealed a "possible" situation, therefore I'm going to have a heart cath. on Friday morning. I may possibly have a lack of blood flow to the heart, thru a minor vein/vessel, that may be treated by Rx or they may have to put in a stint (I believe they call it). I have to be there at 8am and the procedure is to begin about 11am, I will let you know, what I learn.
I pray all is well, with each of you.
Take care and may God bless, you and yours

Ahh, another busy week! I had to be a working stiff, today, but since it was a holiday, here, it was pretty mellow at work. I'm recovering from a hike I took yesterday, and I've put DH to work in the kitchen helping me prep veggies and tofu for dinner.
Work tomorrow, and then just taking care of ME - keeping stretched, de-stressing, etc. No babysitting for me this week, DD and the kid are in NY!
Stan, I wish you luck with your cath. If you need a stent, they'll do it right then and there, and they're easily deployed. Hopefully it was just the evil "hug"(what a misnomer!).
Mike, btdt with the ol' "slide trombone". It's not too bad, and Versed is a wonderful drug - you won't remember much of anything!
Well I'm not really sure how my week will be after my trip to the ER last Thursday night. I have appointments with both my Neuro ( Wed.) and PC (Thur) and no telling what they will do with that info. But I do know with just those 2 appointments I will be done in by Friday.
Mike:
Hope your procedures go good for you. At least now they put you out for them, I the first time I had the Colonoscopy done it was in the doctors office and wide awake.
Stan:
I had that done with my first HA. They didn't do the stint but just the ballon. Wasn't bad at all, other than having to lay still on my back for such a long time afterwards.
Dennis
Stan, if you have questions about the cath procedure or the stent be sure and post a separate thread and Iwill try to answer. There are others here, too, with experience who can help. Good luck.
My Second sleep study this week to get fitted for my cpap.
Had a great long weekend with our four year Grandson.
All else quite ..
take care
