A study for people with MS at U Tenn, online

A Longitudinal Study of Quality of Life Among Individuals with Multiple Sclerosis

Researchers at the University of Tennessee are conducting a longitudinal study examining the quality of life among individuals with multiple sclerosis. We are seeking to recruit individuals who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and who are willing to complete a three month-long study. Participants will complete an online questionnaire (which takes approximately between 30-60 minutes) 10 times across 90 days—once a day for 7-days the first week and then once 30, 60, and 90 days after the initial day.

To be eligible for the study, you must:
• Be diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have Internet access
• Read and write English fluently.

If you are interested in participating, please complete this screener questionnaire: [from Biowham--I've altered to keep the link from being undone. You'll need to put in http and colon and slash slash at the beginning and insert periods where it says "dot": survey(dot)utk(d0t)edu/mrIWeb/mrIWeb(dot)dll?I(dot)Project=SCREENERSURVEY

Participants will be notified via email if whether selected to participate in the study. Participants selected to participate in the study will receive a $10 Target gift card for completing the first phase of the study, and will be entered in a raffle to win one of five $50 Target gift cards after each follow-up assessment (for a total of 15 gift cards given away to participants).

[From Biowham: friend of mine knows the person doing this study and alerted me to it; thought I'd let y'all know]

Yay!  I think it's ridiculous anyway - obviously we're on Medhelp, sharing URLs, so it's not like we're taking traffic away from them...

Thanks, Lu. It'd been awhile, so I guess I didn't know they were allowing them.

Thanks, Bio. I'll go do this right now.
Your post  reminds me I have another study site for everyone to sign up at --- believe it or not I actually cleaned today and your post reminded me that I needed to get it out of the trash!  :-)

I'll post the details on a separate post, but the site is researchmatch.org

FYI everyone - Medhelp has given up on trying to stop us from posting u rl's ... there is no longer a need to disguise the look.
