Ampyra is working...

Not a question.......

I have been taking Ampyra for roughly two weeks and I am walking a whole lot better. I haven't even needed my cane in five days or so. I am very excited about this to say the least (like a kid in a candy store....) I just thought I'd share. I hope you all have a great day.

I have wanted to try Ampyra too, but my doctor says I'm not a good candidate.  (CRPS, and seizures...)

I tried it, but it didn't really work for me - well not enough for me to keep taking it. Plus, I was afraid of having a seizure.

So glad to hear this! More than half of those who try it get no help with walking, but when it works, it works. I have new prescription insurance so I don't know how many hoops I'll have to jump through, but I'll talk to my NP about this.
