Hi Pat and thank you for the response. I phoned the centre this afternoon when I got in from work, the guy there told me that they do some alternative therapies, ie reflexology, I think he said reiki (sp?) and of course the HBOT, this is actually what is putting me off, I don't wish to knock any of these things but right now I am looking for something more down to earth.
When I asked about the physio he said "yes you could try that if you want". I'm not sure if the more alternative therapies are their thing, they are not mine. Please don't anyone think I am against these therapies, just not for me right now.
He is going to send an info pack and maybe once I have looked at it I will go along and see them.
I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again
Mand
I am afraid I know very little but there is some information on the UK MS Society web site.
As you say they also have HBOT treatments which a guy called Christopher Fox-Walker promotes all over the web site as something which has kept him relatively mobile even at age 67. If you google his name and HBOT you can find the research he has been involved in in the UK - the jury is still out on this for me though.
The physio sounds a good idea though, my nearest MS Therapy Centre is too far away to make that worth while. If you do decide to try it let me know how it goes.
Sorry I can't help more. Good luck
Pat
