Not sure.

I guess I should start with a little background information. I am a 28 year old female with soem questiosn in regards  to MS. I'm going to try and make sure I include all my symptoms. I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago and a bladder sling put in due to prolapse of both my bladder and uterus. St the time my doctor coudl not explain why this happened but she did note that I was her youngest patient and that this is not commonly seen in someone as young as myself. Since I have had continued bladder problems even having to cath myself due to urine retention. I have also been having a lot of problesm with numbness and tingling from the waist down. This is a painful numbness and it last for about 4 hours, but it only happens 1 to 2 times a month. I also have a problem with my fingers feling the same way that happens 3 to 4 times a month and it last on and off for about a day then it goes away. I also suffer from migraines but that has been a problem for a few years now, soem are so bad that after the second to thid day all I can do is cry and vomit. My recent and bothersome issue is vertigo which came from out of no where and is horrible. I am currently being medicated for it but it ***** really bad, I have a hard time riding in cars now due tothe vertigo any kind of movement makes me feel like im going to pass out or vomit. My doctor did blood work and everything came out ok. I will see him again Tuesday and he will discuss other test (MRI and seeing a neuro). Just wondering what anyone can tell me in regards to my issues and MS. Any and all comments woudl be great.

Thanks so much for the response. I've been wondering for years what could be going in with me. It is so hard not knowing, but knowing how bad you feel. I look forward to reading the post of others on this site. I hope to have some answers soon about my current condition.

Hi Carwhite,
Welcome to the MS Forum here at MedHelp.  You already know we're not doctors here, so take all of this as amateur ideas, except those from Quix, who really was a doctor (pediatrician).

The symptoms you describe definitely warrant another look at you from a neurologist. You could be having symptoms from more than one problem in your body, but they also all could be neurological in nature.  Numbness, vertigo and headaches all are common MS symtoms, but also are common symtoms of other diseases.

I'm sorry you're suffering this way - be persistent and find some answers.

I hope you'll stick around here - someone else will come through and help with your questions.

my best,
Lulu
