The MS has lead me my new life as a health reform advocate. I now get to meet all these amazing politicians and health care professionals.
Through my blogging I have found I am a good writer.
I am starting a book about my life and overcoming obstacles.
I have trained my own service dog. Polly now goes everywhere with me which gives me more confidence in crowds.
I changed my diet because of the MS. I am now growing my own vegetables and cooking something I did not do before.
I trust my husband more and we are closer than ever.
I appreciate the little things more. I am doing things while I can. Riding a hot air balloon. Riding horses. Hiking . Yoga.
MS has lead me to new friends and let me know who my true old friends were.
Would I want MS no. MS does not have me.
Life today is good.

My heart attack was the warm up for my MS dx. I think both of these have made me a stronger person. I am more of an advocate for myself and others than I ever thought possible. Or than I had ever even thought of.
Like Ess, I have met some wonderful people through having MS ...

Well, the big thing for me is that I joined this forum and have learned so much while making many wonderful friends I never would have known otherwise.
That's all I can think of, but it's sure a biggie.
