maybe it is just the cycles of the moon? LOL I have been agitated these past few days and know it from the time I get out of bed to the time I go to sleep. Good luck in figuring it out. At least we know when we are out of synch with the rest of the world.
Clafary,
I don't think we met - hello, and welcome!
I can't speak to the Gilenya as a cause, but know damage in specific areas of the brain can cause agitation, as it can cause confusion. You know the location of your lesions?
And, are you suffer with fatigue? Fatigue can cause this too - w/out a trigger.
I have been on Gilenya for a year now and have had some strange side effects, but I don't recall having agitation back then. See how it goes over the next week and if it continues you might need to bring it to your neuro's attention. It does affect everyone a little differently. When your body gets used to the drug, hopefully this symptom (if a side effect of G.) will go away.
I like the lower blood pressure too. I was borderline hypertensive and now I am in really in the normal range. Heart rate is better too.
Hoorray for no more needles!
