Does anyone have trouble with swallowing

I have been having trouble with swallowing, when I take a xanax the feeling is still there but is bearable. I also have numbness, tingling, twitches and aches. I have not be diagnosed with ms yet but I have a appt with a neurologist in May. I did have a mri that showed white lesions which is why my dr is sending me to the neuro. My question is what do you guys do to alleviate any symptons that may be of a help to me.

Drinking a big gulp of a cold beverage; I drink water. I read about it online. It helps to trigger the swallow reflex and really does help me to swallow. The problem comes and goes for me, but maybe that's just becuz I don't drink cold things unless I can't swallow like at all. It's a shock to the system to drink very cold water and it's harder on the body, I heard from some genius nutritionist friend of ours.

Hi Tonya,
Would you please let me know what your dr says on Monday. I don't go to the neuro til May 8th and this throat thing is really bothering me the most out of all of the symptons I have. Thank you for replying to me.

I am just recently (in the past week and a half) been having the same thing going on. This is a new sx for me as I have not had this before.
I called my neuro to let him know what was going on and he said that since he already had me coming in on Monday that he would explain this better as to why it may be happening.
I am not dx yet (hopefully my appt on Monday will put some closure to all of this goofiness)  but hope this helps you in some way.
