Just wanted to say I'm glad there's some good news in there and that you don't have cancer, can keep on with the Tysabri, and got your SSDI.
But, still, it's so hard to have so much taken away from you. To not be able to stay awake and focused. To not be able to accomplish so many things that you dreamed of doing. To not be able to continue in the work that you feel so passionately about.
I don't really know what to say. But I feel confident that you will find a way to be strong, to continue to find meaning in your life, and to continue to be such a generous, compassionate person who is always helping others.
You're in my thoughts.

You have been missed, girlfriend. The greatest news, is NO CANCER. Amen, Amen, Amen. Thank God for some good. life altering news. That's great Lori. I am so happy for you dear.
I know that you still have other health issues, but with cancer out of the way, it will be much easier to deal with the other issues that plague your life. You are not only a strong person, but a fighter. That's been proven already, by how you handle your life and the obstacles placed before you.
So SSDI...how fantastic. One less worry, although none of us will get rich being on SSDI. I say thats fine, at least it's there for us. Yes, I know, we worked for our benefits, but what we get out of it over the long haul, is worth it's weight in gold.
How is the Tysabri going? Which medication "wears off quickly?" Is that the Tysabri that is doing that to you? Are you suffering from more cognitive problems/
We am so glad to hear from you girl....you have been missed. When you can get back in the swing of things, I hope that you will post more often. You give so much to others, when you have enough of your own to worry about....let us be there for you...please?
We are all rejoicing in the good part of your news. Still sorry that you are going through so much suffering. We are here for you babygirl...I hope you know that. You really are NEVER alone, as long as we are here.
You've been missed. Big time. Let's all gather 'round and give Lori a big Forum hug.
We love you dear heart...always remember that. We are here for you, night or day. Even if it's in the virtual world, it helps to know that you have friends who understand and have someone to lean on.
Best Wishes always,
Heather
I just wish I knew you, based on the love I see from all these fine folks. You are obviously a very special person, and I will pray that things continue to work in your favor (Rom. 8:28).
It is GREAT to hear from you. It is EXCELLENT that you have successfully navigated the SSDI maze. Good for you. Take good care of yourself and we look forward to seeing you on the forum when you can make it.
Hugs and more hugs,
Julie

Nice to see you back. Take it easy, and stop in when you can.
SSDI approved and cancer free sound great to me, too!
I'm very sorry about the other medical problems. I hope that you're getting the best treatment possible, and that you thoroughly enjoy each fully concious moment, and float pleasantly through the less aware times.
Hugs,
Kathy
