Well I am home again from my Mother's...on Wednesday she had minor, day surgery but at 80 years old is there really such a thing? Well, was I surprised when I walked in and there was Mom in the bed, raring to get out of that place and looking great! The surgery went well and we got her home just fine and I stayed overnight with her and she had no trouble at all!
I stayed all day yesterday with her and we watched the movie "The Bucket List" and she loved it! We had a great laugh and shared some tears and some of our own feelings toward the subject which we never had a chance to before...I didn't know she didn't want a funeral and other things that 'I sort of need to know' but there was never an opportunity to speak of them.
She is feeling a little more sore today but I told her she needs to move around a bit more and to stretch out a bit...sitting in her easy chair 24/7 is just going to stiffen her up even more.
So, we hope that is the last of that and that this surgery finally helps her out.
I am feeling pretty good actually, I have started that new med, Elavil and so far so good but it will take a while to know if it will work. We are hoping to get our new trailer home this weekend and I am pretty excited about it! I can't wait to start cleaning it out and making it smell like home, nice a clean!
Hope everyone is well and no one is feeling too badly cause the weekend is coming and the weather looks good for everyone but Calgary...but then they are in the NHL Playoffs and got 25cm of snow yesterday...looks good on em!! ah ha ha ha ha
Loves ya,
Rena
