Body temperature question

Out of all my searches for body temperature all I can find is Thyroid problems.  Well all my thyroid test are fine.  But I am cold most of the time.  I live in Houston where it can get extremely hot, but I don't think I have sweated at all this summer.  At the beginning of my MS (or whatever this is) experience I was experiencing heat intollerance.  But now I am just cold all the time.  My symptoms don't get worse in the cold or anything, I am just cold.  I have to wear long sleeves and jeans in July.  Is this a problem any of you have?

I have noticed since this neurological thing started two years ago that my body tempature doesn't get over 96 degrees.  I have also noticed that though I get hot outdoors, I do not sweat hardly at all anymore!  I used to profusly sweat out doors in the summer, but now I only get a little trickle maybe on my chest or back. My head doesn't sweat at all anymore.

I have had my thyroid checked also and it is normal.  I don't know what is different but something is because this is not like me. I am usually extremely hot blooded, even before the attack.  The weird thing Is  I am not cold.  I feel hot, overheated, weak , shaky, but hardly any sweat.

I wonder if these things can be related to what is going on with me??

I always had ran a low b.p. until all of this pain started and then it started creeping up on me.  But back in the day, I was always freezing and would keep my heater on my waterbed I had at the time in the middle of summer.  This is when I started to complain of my heavy legs  My Dr would always tell me low b.p. was better than high b.p. but I was miserable with the low b.p.  I would have episodes of fainting because of the b.p. getting too low so be careful.  Do you have a way of checking your b.p?

I am on absolutely no medications.  My blood pressure has always run low, but nothing low enough to alarm the docs.

I have a similar situation, only I am very heat intolerant but my legs are ice cold.  I have livedo reticularis in my legs, its where it looks like purple to red lacy patterns on them.  It is kind of ugly.

How is your blood pressure?  If it gets a little low that can cause a drop in body temp and usually first thing in the morning your body temp will be cooler than in the afternoon.  Are you on any kind of blood thinners or heart medications?

Many Hugs & Love,

Ada
