Can we name it?

Ok, we all refer to the pesky little s/s that we get, the foot drag, the dizzies, the drunk walk, all those little intermittent things that come and go......but don't see that we have come up with a catchy little simple name for them when we talk about them.  We have flares for major episodes, etc, anyone game for coming up with a short/simple/catchy name that quickly defines our s/s that comes and goes........

yeah, too much time on my hands, not really, drug the plants outside today to reintroduce them to the big world after being in all winter........

Sarah, I just bumped a post from a while back that helps us add words to the symptoms, but not necessarily names.  I thought you might find it oddly amusing.

true Mary, I had forgotten that one, it just isn't simple enough and my tongue wraps around that word for some reason and refuses to spit it out!

These symptoms have a name already.  They are called paroxysmal.  They are neurological disturbances that mimic symptoms of MS attacks but are fleeting rather than persistent. They may come and go during a day and then disappear or persist for days, weeks or months.  They are not the result of heat exposure.  They can be treated with medications when necessary.

Here is a little accessed Health Page about them.  (The Health Pages REALLY ARE an EXCELLENT source of infomation.)

and here is the United Spinal article that apparently inspired much of the content of the Health Page

Happy reading!
