For the record, you have to file an EECO complaint in order to file an ADA suit to sue for maltreatment. At least in my state.
I'm letting my personal relationships with these people get in the way of my decision making process and only have a few days left to decide.
Absoultely talk to the attorney first and see what he/she thinks. Filing these complaints are a lot like filing EEO complaints - a Catch-22. If you ever plan on coming back to the industry, then a complaint like this could come out, not necessarily, but its possible. The sad irony is that the ADA laws are there to help us not hurt us. Tough decision. See what cousel advises.

Alex and Julie,
I am trying to decide if its worth the hassle and the potentail harm to my credibility in the job market. Deadline for deciding is next week.
I have an attorney connection I was going to contact. Not sure it feels right, hence the procrastination until now when it's almost too late.
Thanks for the support guys!

I had to file a reasonable accommodations complaint, but it got handled at a low level never making it to administrative court. I wish I could have been of more help.
Alex gave a good suggestion about going to the MS society. I hope Fluffysmom will come by and see your post as she is also a wealth of info on these questions.
We'll all pitch in and try to find something to help though as we may be in this situation ourselves at some point.

Our local MS Society has a person who advises folks on employment issues.
