if you're here in the states, most of the time the radiologist is reading the film almost immediately. They are sitting in a hospital doing films all day long - even if you have it done at a remote center, it is sent to them electronically to read. It is a very fast process. Most doctors want to see the report before the patient, so if there is anything significant to be told, they can be the one to break the news.
When I ask for my films and reports I always make sure to tell them that I already know I have MS ....
You also want a copy of your mri on disc, so you have a copy of the pictures for your records. This is more important to have than the radiologist's report.
good luck,

I asked for a copy of the radiologist's report (I think that's what I was supposed to ask for) and she said that I would have to call later and ask for one over the phone. Do they mail it to you? I have no clue. Well I only had it done yesterday on the 10th so I don't know how snappy they are with these things.
my goodness... how can you trust anyone now ... well... let us know the results...and ask the Neuro what they think of that...
when do you get the results...and did you ask for copies??
take care
