DJ - Heading out to PA tomorrow

Hey everyone - here's the news.  DJ and her daughter Lori are on a United flight out of LAX Saturday morning, 10:30ish.  It is a direct flight to PA, so no layovers.  

Please keep a positive thought, say a prayer, spin around three times and spit - whatever it is you do! LOL  - that they have a safe journey and encounter kind, compassionate workers at LAX, in the security line, on the flight and arrive intact and in good spirits in Pennsylvania.

DJ was just told this week how very ill she was - her doctors told her they did not understand why she was still alive.  The pneumonia, bladder infection, abcess on the pump site and the sepsis that was rampant in all parts of her body, including her spine and brain.  She was literally on  death's door.  Now she is back to her old cheerful self - full of loving life to its fullest.  

DJ  says it was all the prayers that pulled her through.  She remembers next to nothing of this entire ordeal.

By tomorrow evening I hope I can post an update that says she has landed and is settled into her new apartment.  This has been quite the ordeal, since it began well before Christmas.

Thanks Laura for the continued updates on dear DJ. I'm keeping positive thoughts, saying a prayer, spinning around 3 times and spitting and adding one of crossing everything that can be crossed in hopes of all that you spoke of.

DJ, you are truly an amazing woman and I'm so thankful that you are doing better, all the best in your new home.
