Well hello Cruise thanks for joining us!
How've you been doing with your MS?
Are the findings you posted recent? Or, from when you were dx'd?
I was dx'd in 07, so I'm still a rookie with MS, but we do have vereran MSers like yourself here too.
Hope you like it here. If you feel comfortable, tell us a little about yourself.
> On T2 and FLair sequence, there is high signal within the periventricular white matter. Many of these lesions are perpendicular to the ventric. surface. '
It sounds like the radiologist is describing Dawson's fingers, which are a classic sign of MS.
> On the sagittal Flair sequence there is thinning of the corpus callosum.
Typical with MS - there's going to be some atrophy.
> High signal is seen within the right paramidline, mid and posterior pons, and in the left parmidline porterior midbrain.
When they say high signal, what they mean is that something is showing up as enhanced white. Probably a lesion in your pons, and one in your posterior midbrain.
