Do you do this?

I Just knocked over my glass of tea. I have noticed I do this often.  I not only knock over my glass but when I reach for things, i.e.  my medicine bottles or spices form the cabinet etc.  I not only knock them over I knock over everything around them.  I just wondered if others have this problem or know why we do it?

I do this too. I also have been known to try to put something down and totally miss the table. Also will be sure I am past a doorway, lamp, etc but walk right into it. Fortunately this has not been as frequent lately.

He didn't make me do it really fast.  I do know by the feel that I didn't touch the tip but right above the tip. I to do the thing about brushing up against walls ect.  Sometimes I have the bruises to prove it but you don't have to clean that up...LOL

How do you do in that test where they have you put your arms out to your sides and then touch your nose with your finger really fast?

I thought there was a thread on this once, but the one I found turned out to be on people's arms suddenly jerking out and knocking things over, which sounds like a different problem. I drop stuff a lot, but I think that's different, too.

It sounds like you're maybe having trouble judging where your hand is in relation to the bottles or whatever, which I think is a proprioception problem. I don't have that with grabbing things, but I tend to sort of brush up against walls and other things by somehow misjudging where I am in relation to them.

All the time.  Unless I really concentrate.  I love it when I drop my spoon in the middle of what I was eating....It's as though my fingers are as big as sausages.  Ohhh, picture that if you can.
