Does anyone have insomnia?

This is not truly caused by my pain, I don't think, but since I started on Savella, I haven't had one solid nights sleep.  I am up every hour to hour and a half, just wide awake.  I have been told repeatedly by my docs that restorative sleep is very necessary to feel even half way decent in the a.m.  I do not take sleeping pils either.

Welcome. I've had more than my share w/sleep issues. But, since your issue started immediately after introducing a new med, it's most likely the culprit.

My advice is to mention to the Dr. asap. No sleep affects "everything," beats you down, turns you into a zombie, su cks the life out of you! Quick! Maybe the Dr. can find an alternative to treat your problems and give you your zzzzzzzz's back.

Hi. I didn't know what Savella is, so I Googled it and learned that it treats Fibro. Side effects do include insomnia.

You're not alone. Call your doctor and see if there's something else for you. Poor sleep, over time, can cause serious problems, and add to those you already have.

I used to until I learned hypnosis now I can fall asleep and stay asleep with pain.
