Alex, way cool. :)
Google "Therapeutic horseback riding".
Shell,
This afternoon it hit me. My thighs are right sore. My arm is completely numb today. I know I will get over it. I talked to a neighbor who has a saddle she is not using and is happy to lend it to me. I am limping today but happy!
I also took another step into the world I agreed to get a painting done for my gallery by the end of the month. I have not given them anything new in years.
Alex
Niiiiice!!!!!!!
How's the keister feeling today? And, the jimmy leg? Better?
Happy for you, Alex.

Yes Alex, sometimes it is easier to write when when having a bad day. It is nice to hear when someone can do something like this. It's great that you were able to drive a horse, ooops, I think the term is ride (Only been on a horse once and that was about 40 years ago and my back still hurts.) If I ever tried it now, after one gallop, my spine would compress into a domino.

Yippy.....Yahooooo! That is wonderful.........
SOOO happy for you! I love horses as well....... Now, you have given me the bug...I am going to go horse back riding for sure this summer......

Alex,
What excellent news!! I am so glad it worked out for you. This one was meant to be! It sounds like you still have your touch and that you did quite well.
You are an inspiration. You have more intestinal fortitude than I. I can't even imagine me getting on a horse again after 14 years or more (boy I'm getting old) .
Hope the muscles recover nicely from the ride and keep bringing us good news!
You are AWESOME!!! Way to keep getting out there and keeping up the fight. You inspire sooo many of us!!
Hugs

Awesome! I love horses - I will admit they intimidate me a bit, but I think they are so beautiful! So glad to hear you had a good time!
Hugs,
Chrisy
Next time get some photos for us to see...you are so brave and I hope that your muscles do not ache more than normal! I think you are an excellent example of showing us all that if we put our minds to something challenging we can overcome what sometimes feels like insurmountable mountains (or even horses!) You will be trotting and cantering before we know it. Take care and well done

Woo Hooooo! You rock as well as ride!!! That's sooo cool! I love horses and grew up with them. My heart's right there. So glad you had the presence of mind to stay on and calm her. That must have taken all the strength (mentally and physically) you had.
Big hugs, you may be sore later...

Michelle
that's so awesome Alex, how wonderful that were able to ride and enjoy yourself. Good for you! lois
I am sooo excited for you!! You're totally brave too. I would be way too nervous to ride bareback or with a saddle even before having MS. You give me encouragement to go out and try to do the things that I used to do.
Thanks!!
Kristi
Wow, Alex! High five to you for trying what you love and had been missing out on. I sure hope you continue to do so, as it is really obvious that you enjoy this.
I am glad you posted your good day! ;0)
