Hi EK -
I abgree with JJ. Let the doc do his/her job. If yu walk in questioning other doctors and presenting your theory you risk losing the doc's attention. You become just another Dr. Google referral :-)
I would have a list of symptoms ready, ranked in terms of the degree to which they impact your life. I would concentrate on the top 3-4. If you don't like the neuro you can always find another. Many of us went through multiple neurs before finding the right match.
Ley us know how things develop.

Hi and welcome to our little MS community,
To be honest, i never really think it's a good idea........simply because if you don't have any diagnostic proof to support your belief, then its basically just your unqualified opinion of being "misdiagnosed", over a medically trained professional's opinion and most 'other' medically trained professionals (of any field), are not going to see it as a good thing no matter what your intentions!
MS is suppose to be 'one of the most common' medical conditions people think they have, but you need to keep in mind that there are a lot of MS mimics and depending on what sx's and clinical signs of lesion damage you have, will be what makes neurological conditions like MS more likely or not. Take one step at a time, i'm sure the neurologist will do some basic neurological testing and if you have anything clinically suggestive of a neurological causation, further diagnostic testing (MRI - brain and spine, LP, visual - OCT, VEP etc) will happen automatically.
Cheers...........JJ
