Sometimes my numbness gets more pronounced - it's like it's sitting there being numb, and then it gets numb and buzzy, or something.
I have the hardest time with my lip - when my face has numbness, I tend to bite my lip on the right side. Sometimes I have to put a wad of gum over my teeth on that side, so I won't keep biting it. (Of course, it usually happens when I'm eating!)
Meh... with just sensory, I'm willing to wait - I don't know about you. But a visit with your neuro now won't get that MRI any sooner.
Hi there, I get numbness on the right side of my mouth and under my right eye. I can have it for a few weeks or more then it's gone. When my nose goes numb it can last for a few days, and when it's gone I really notice my nose and that feels good.
having strange feeling on your face isn't fun but it's not painful for me. I shouldn't say that incase TN hears me... lol
take care and sorry can't give you answers
wobbly
Sounds like the ol' Trigeminal Nerve Blues! I'm glad you have an MRI coming up.
I'd still call your MSologist sooner than later. Maybe they can bump up your MRI a little in their schedule. I think s/he would want to know about new symptoms, too.
Cheers,
Lisa
JB - have you read my old journal post about things that go bump in the night? It might explain why you are aware of these symptoms when you are quiet....

"You know what it's like when you go to bed late at night, and finally all the outside stimuli of televisions and conversations and everything else associated with noise is turned off? You then lay in bed and listen - and you hear the floor boards creak, and the furnace cycle, and the rafters of the house shift. All the noises you weren't hearing before are now quite noticeable when you stop and listen. Our bodies are much like that - when we turn off all the other external noises and start to focus on the signals our bodies give us, we hear so much more than usual. And in our heightened state of being hyperaware of being ill, we tend to hear even more. "
Hmmmm I dont have any idea why your more aware whilst your sitting down, though it makes me wonder if sitting produces the 'right' curviture of your spine to 'trigger' the sensation, though i'm truely guessing lol
I have face issues (nope i'm not thaaat ugly lol) my nose and the left under eye area go numb when ever it feels like it, under eye one is more ofter than not, though it doesn't matter where or what i'm doing, its just there.
sorry I couldn't answer your questions, hopefully someone will have the answers for you, hmmmm anyone?
Cheers..........JJ
