I'm so glad you did something fun in that great city. Way to keep that dimpled chin up.
Bio
Lulu...
a dimple it is... a very prominent one too.... I was once told by an old gent that it was made by heavenly beings to that earthly men could place kisses in it... (smile) I've also been told that it's the thumbrint of god. :) whatever it is, I'm used to it, and it makes me "me"...!
Everyone else- thanks for the comments, and I too hope they find answers, and I will just keep living life, putting all that testing jazz on the back burner (how is that possible with everyone and their brother asking me either how I'm doing, what I have, or the likes, or a new symptom popping up) BUT I"M GOING TO KEEP TRYING and smiling and laughing all the same!
I'm off to paint cards for all my friends who have kept in in their thoughts and prayers this month, so I've got to get going, it will take me all afternoon.... I'm not a professional painter, I've never had classes but I like to splash about paint and when I'm done I like the way it looks, and hey, it's a gift for them and if they don't like it.... they'd better not tell me, right? Seeings as I never plan on being an artist of great means, I don't need criticism to make me better... criticise my cooking and smile at my painting is my motto.... then, I will, of course, give you more painted cards, and make you cook your own food.
have a wonderful afternoon and enjoy this lovely fall weather, I think I will.

Glad you had a good time in NYC outside of all the doctor appts. I'm so sorry you didn't get any firm answers, but I hope they will keep working on that and that will come soon.

Are you sure you aren't sisters? How nice that you have some good memories to look back on as well! So glad you had that little respite!
You are such a ray of Sunshine, Sweetie!!! You are so adorable!!!! Sweetie, I know this trip was hard for you but it is good to hear that you enjoyed the trip minus all the health stuff. You are going through so much and yet you still have this way of sending those rays of sunshine to all of us here, you are such a loving, caring, person Sunny. I'm sending you many, many, cyber hugs and kisses!!!
Love Ya,
Ada
*bump* so everyone can see how cute Sunnytoday is... is that a dimple in your chin? Lulu
Sunnytoday,
It is so good to see your smiling face and yes, you do look a lot like your mom. I'm so glad you have some happy memories to share from this trip.
My best to you, Lulu
Thank you!! I did enjoy my time there, and of course, NY is so different from out slow, laid back southern town... and the fun languages from all over the world made it quite interesting to just listen to everyone talking... French, Italian, German, Hungarian, Russian and everything else you can imagine, just everything swirling around you was fun- and hard to understand!
I was happy to come home though... no place like home!

So glad you had a good time in NYC. That's my favorite place to visit. Funny you mentioned the long blocks...The north-south ones are reasonable, but my, oh my, those crosstown ones are a bear.
I love your pictures--thanks for posting them of your trip. You look just as sweet as I pictured in mind! Your mom does look like you--gorgeous and sweet. I am happy, too, that you had a good time in the midst of everything you've gone through. Your quite an inspiration to me, honey.
Hugs, Deb
By the looks of the pictures and now by your comments it sounds as though all it not lost by the medical garbage...you actually had a good time and I am sooo happy for you! That is a place that I would love to see one day but in the meantime it's nice to live vicariously through a friend...thanks for sharing Sunshine!
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
