I guess it can be normal to change dmd's so many times. I started on Rebif, changed to copaxone, and then there was talk of gilenya too.
I am currently "on hold" while I change doctors, but as for "returning this gift" I used to ask if we could just pretend that this never happened too. But recently, my old neuro gave me to someone else, and now I am back in limbo again. So as much as MS *****, it is still better than not having a solid answer for the stuff that is happening to your body.

I see that one of the words I used was removed... Not sure why, because I absolutely never use foul language... Anyway, the general meaning of the word that was removed is that MS is "not fun". I guess there must be some kind of automatic sensor malfunction??? Oh well. I just wanted it to be understood that I did not use any bad language!!!

Tammy, that auto censor grabs the strangest words that might have se xual conotations and bleeps them - words such a pin pr ick or MS su cks are hard to get through unless you space them out like I did to break the word apart.
Houston - if your disease is not responding to your current therapy you really do want to be as agressive as possible and find one that does work. Good luck with the next step - Just posted the links to a death possibly connected with Gilenya and I would bet there won't be any data for sure on this for a long time. You will have to do the risk vs benefit discussion with your doctor to sort out this new development.
