WASHINGTON (AP) – Drugmaker Biogen Idec said Tuesday that it received U.S. approval for an easier-to-use form of its multiple sclerosis injection Avonex.

this is great news for all of our avonex users. The injction pen and the new dosing schedule should provide relief from so many of the intramuscular injection problems.
It's a pen right? It also says that Biogen is working on an experimental oral MS drug called "BG-12" . That will be interesting.
